Think Spring!
Adopt a Spot needs your help!
A big Thank You to St Paul's Adopt a Spot team who
has made great strides, improving the overall appearance of our
beautiful campus over the past few years. A
special thanks to many of our "Senior Citizens" that
have committed much of their time and energy to make a huge difference
with this endeavor.
In 2010 we have
some big projects planned that will make some needed improvements
in the landscape around St Paul Campus. Consider this a plea for
others to step up and help out. There are still a few spots that
need adopted and some folks have asked for help with their adopted
spots.
This could be
a great way to learn from the pros, while doing a very charitable
and rewarding task for the parish. Please contact Mark Seipel
309-255-0635 if you have questions or would like to find out how
you can join the St Paul Adopt a Spot team.
Check out the
updated poster in the church entrance or view
a slideshow online. Thanks
again, to all that have been helping over the years, we all appreciate
your continued support of the St Paul Adopt a Spot program.

TO STRENGTHEN STEWARDSHIP
AT ST. PAUL PARISH
We request that you to consider utilizing a new and easier way to support
our parish
The
Grace in Giving Automated Contribution Program.
- What is Automated
Giving?
An alternate means of support for St. Paul Parish instead of envelopes.
In lieu of weekly collections, the ParishPay program will collect
monthly contributions from your checking, saving, or credit card account.
There is NO cost to participate in the program.
- What are the
benefits to me?
Allows you to plan your giving, in the same way you budget your other
financial commitments. You no longer have to be concerned about catching-up
missed offertory donations when you miss a Mass because you are out
of town, on vacation, ill, etc. You can easily adjust the amount of
your automated contribution (up or down) through the Rectory or do
it yourself via a secure website access. You no longer need to write
a check every week.
- How does it relate
to the use of the weekly envelopes?
If you choose to participate in the Automated Giving Program, this
will replace your weekly envelopes.
- I feel uncomfortable
not having something to physically drop into the collection basket.
What should I do?
Special donation slips are available for those enrolled in the automated
giving program to be dropped into the collection basket, should you
wish.
- How do I enroll
in the program?
You can enroll in the program by completing and signing the enrollment
brochure and placing it in the weekly offering basket or visit www.parishpay.com
to sign up online. Your support in this effort is greatly appreciated.
VOCATION
Could you or someone you know be called to the Priesthood? Contact the
Vocation Office at 309-671-1569 or email at vocations@cdop.org.
Do You Know a St.
Paul Alumni Who Has a New Address?
Please return to St. Paul School or drop in the basket labeled "St.
Paul Alumni" in the Narthex. We appreciate your assistance.
Letter
from Reverend Daniel R. Jenky, C.S.C., Bishop of Peoria

His Holiness
Pope John Paul the II has honored Father Pricco with the title
of Chaplain to His Holiness and he has been given the title of Reverend
Monsignor.
REMINDER
There are many dishes in the Narthex kitchen, left from funeral
dinners.
